RÉSUMÉ / CV

OBJECTIVE
Teaching is not just a job, but a lifestyle choice. I love teaching because it puts me in a unique position to learn something new everyday, as well as affect local and global changes by inspiring young people and instilling in them a passion for science and, hopefully, motivating them to become lifelong learners. I believe in a whole person teaching style, attempting to encourage students to not only become better scientists, but better, more rounded individuals. I've taught both AP and IB curricula, and I'm proud that I've had students nominate me for national recognition, as well as inspired many of them to become veterinarians, scientists, and science teachers. I continually strive to improve my curriculum and my teaching style, to hone and perfect my craft. In every class I teach I give students an assessment of me as a teacher because they often have excellent suggestions, many of which I implement. I love teaching, and I don't exaggerate when I say that I wake up every morning excited to go to work.
